1980s Lillie Rubin Poly Chiffon Dropped Waist Dress
Very 80s does 20s flapper inspired style
Fabricated in poly georgette in a soft aqua blue, close in color to Pantone’s Morning Mist.
Bodice is constructed in two layers, the over bodice and the cami style under bodice. The lining and back of the underbodice are fabricated in a tricot knit
Billowy dolman style set in sleeves are gathered into the armholes. They narrow at the wrist and fasten with a single covered button through a self loop at the wrist.
Beaded appliques with dripped beaded strands are attached at the front yokes
Dropped Waist with a beaded diamond shape at the center front
A peplum drapes over the low hip
The high low skirt has a center front sit and dips lower with the fullness falling in the back.
Single needle baby hem
All interior seams are marrowed.
Maker: Unknown. The Maker label, below the Lillie Rubin label was mostly cut out. I’m not recognizing the maker for the remnants but maybe you will.
