1950s Blue Floral Taffeta and Chiffon Dress
Fabricated in a printed blue rayon taffeta with a blue floral Nylon Chiffon overlay
Wide boat neck with a V-back
Fastens down center back with a metal toothed zipper and a hook and bar.
Half length chiffon puffed sleeves with taffeta cuffs
Gathered cummerbund detail in taffeta at the waist
Full chiffon overlay shirt is pleated into the waist seam
The taffeta layer is clean finished with a single needle rolled baby hem and the chiffon layer with an 1 1/2” blind hem

Condition: Very good. The tulle that once lined the sleeves was badly shredded so I have removed it. The enamel on the zipper pull has chipped. Freshly hand soaked and line dried, arrives clean and ready to wear.
