Dates to the 1960s to 70s

Fabricated in Hand Loomed Cotton in a sunset inspired palette of pink, purple, orange, yellow and brown

Orange Rayon Fringe

A cross between a huipil and a caftan

Embroidered at center front with a sun and along the sleeve seams

Orange and yellow rayon fringe drips down from the sleeves

Column style dress with a side slit at the hem

3” blind hem

Maker: Josefa

Retailed through Cristina De Nuevo Laredo

Condition: Very good/excellent. I’ve added a few reinforcement stitches to the side seams at the armholes. There is some minor discoloration to the label and the inside neck facings. See photos. Freshly dry cleaned, arrives clean and ready to wear.

Measurements: The measurements below are the actual measurements of the garment. Please allow for ease. Whenever possible the best way to insure a good fit is by comparing the measurements to that of a similar garment in your closet.

Size: Looks to best suit a modern XS- Medium allowing for ease. Please use measurements below.

Hips: 45.5”
