1950s Mollie Parnis Black Wool Column Dress with Fur Sleeves
Two piece dress includes an under dress with a separate top
Fabricated in black wool crepe
The top features a wide neck
Dropped shoulder with short puffed mink sleeves with silk bows at the caps
Fitted with waist darts in the front and shoulder darts in the back
Fastens with a Conmatic separating metal toothed zipper and a hook and thread loop at center back.
The under dress features a silky rayon bodice and a wool crepe skirt.
Skirt fully lined in the silky rayon
Fitted with bust darts from the side seams and waist
Fastens with a Tabit metal toothed zipper down center back with a hook and thread loop at the top
Gathers along hips for fit and knife pleats on the front panel of the skirt
Pockets concealed within the front knife pleats
Grosgrain ribbon inside at waist fastens with hooks and bars
16.5” center front slit
3” blind hem clean finished with hem tape

Condition: Very Good. Please note the seam stress to the fit and side seams on the under bodice. The sleeve lining has begun to split at the wearer’s right armhole. I’ve noticed some shedding to the fur, but this is still a very wearable gown.(See photos) Arrives freshly dry cleaned and ready to wear.
