1940s White Rayon and Lace Dress
Fabricated in a diaphanous ivory rayon chiffon with a sheer net lace inset at the front bodice
Comes with a bias cut rayon slip with chiffon spaghetti straps telling me this is original to the dress.
Shirring to the front shoulders and sleeve caps
little shoulder extender pads in the sleeve caps hold out the puffed sleeve caps
short sleeves with tiny decorative tucks
6 panel skirt for flare
Fastens with a metal toothed Talon zipper down the side seam
Maker: Unknown the slip has a Net York creations label in the side seam
Condition: Very Good. There is a small, 1/8” brown spot that I managed to lighten but not fully remove. The slip has a few small scattered holes that will not be seen when worn. Both pieces are clean, sturdy and arrive ready to wear.
