1940s White Chiffon Robe, XXS
Fabricated a diaphanous rayon chiffon
Trimmed in lace along the collar, wrist, shoulder and back peplum
Fastens with two mother of pearl buttons at the waist
There are snaps above the waist, but I believe they may have been a later addition.
A self belt is attached at the side seam and ties in the front
Full length sleeves fasten with mother of pearl buttons at the wrist

Condition: Good/Very good. There is a small lace applique at the elbow, covering a 1/4” repaired hole. Two tiny pinholes at the back neck, one with a few repair stitches is covered by the lace collar when worn. Freshly soaked and line dried, arrives clean and ready to wear.
