1950s Gold Swimsuit

Classic 1950s Gold metallic skirted bathing suit

Pretty sure this was a Cole as the construction is identical to other Cole of California bathing suits of the period, right down to the “Dot snap” at the back zipper facing. Unfortunately the previous owner had removed the label from the cup so we cannot be ceratin. (see photos)

Beautifully pleated bustline

Stiff nylon buckram interior bust cups lined in acetate with cotton binding on edges and tape on the seam.

Straps snap at slider in the back

Interior tummy panel for shape.
