1940s Palm Print Rayon Cotton Blend Shirt Dress, XS
Fabricated a rayon cotton blend linen look plain weave fabric with a subtle slubbed yarn. Very soft, very breathable.
Engineered palm print in white
Set in collar
Fastens down center front with green plastic buttons and a hook and eye at the waist and high hip
Small shoulder pads
Front bodice fitted with darts that release under the bust at the waist
Skirt fitted with pleats stitched close and released at the low hip.
1/4” blind hem. (Not the neatest stitching, but not noticable.
Raw/unfinished seams
Maker: Unknown. Possibly home sewn, but well made.
Condition: Very good. The bottom button is missing. There is a 1” repair to the back of the skirt. See photos. Freshly soaked and line dried, arrives clean and ready to wear.
